Issue, download and revoke certificates

This issuance and public-verification workflow belongs to the new staging website. Do not treat a production graduate entry as a certificate issued by this studio.

Before starting, create the graduate in your school’s Graduates list and activate a certificate template. You must own that school; you cannot issue for an unrelated graduate.

  1. Open Certificates, find an Active template and choose Issue.
  2. In Graduate, use Select a graduate and choose the intended recipient. Confirm the displayed Recipient before continuing.
  3. Enter Program name, Issue date and Signer display name.
  4. Choose Issue certificate once. Wait until the issue operation finishes.
  5. Review the result, then select Download PDF or Open public certificate.

If the graduate list fails, use Try again. A retry retains the entered program. Do not change the school/recipient during an active issue operation. Check every name, date, certificate number, signature and non-English character before distributing the PDF.

The library’s Issued certificates list shows each issue and status. Public link opens its verification page. On the public page use Copy link to share the proof; Download PDF is available when supported. The page identifies the recipient, school, program, graduation/issue dates, certificate number and status. Private contact details are not published.

Verified certificate means that proof is active in the directory. Use the exact issued link; do not construct a code from a person’s name. If PDF generation fails, the online proof can remain available—share the public link and report the PDF error.

In Issued certificates, select Revoke for the correct active issue. Its public status changes to Revoked certificate; the history remains available for reference. Revocation is not deletion of the underlying graduate.

Changing a template later does not rewrite an already issued certificate’s saved proof. For an incorrect issued certificate, revoke it and issue the corrected proof according to your school’s process.
